The Sawyer Cleaning Coupling provides a simple way to backwash and clean compatible Sawyer Squeeze and dual-threaded MINI filters using a standard plastic water or soda bottle. Attach the coupling between the filter and a 28mm-threaded bottle filled with clean, filtered water, then squeeze the bottle to force water through the filter in reverse. Repeat as necessary until the water flows clearly and easily.

• Remove the push-pull cap from the compatible filter.
